A Week to Go?
Howard will be visiting the million-dollar house on Thursday. Narrative and pix coming soon.In the meantime, here's a photo from last week of some workers putting the finishing touches on the grout between the cultured stone of the fireplace.
Also note the entertainment center to the left, which will hold the owner's 42" plasma teevee in the cabinet above and the DVD collection in the drawers below. Howard designed it as well.

Is the entertainment center already stained or will it be stained?

Good question. The entertainment center will be stained to match the window frames, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, doors -- heck, nearly all the exposed wood in the house. The mantle, which was taped over in this photo, was stained darker to match the mahogany front door and other accented wood bits throughout the house.
