Why Howard Laughed
Question: Will anyone read an architecture / cycling / global warming / peak oil / housing bubble bursting blog? Answer: Don't care, therapy is therapy. Looks like it's gonna be a long hard slog, uphill, into the gale, with rusty gears and a bad attitude.

Great video Howard. With that title, though, I was expecting to see some spectacular wrecks. Glad I didn't, just the same.
That stuff you were riding on was fantastic compared to the crud I did five miles in yesterday. Unbelievable. Wish I could locate some plowed paths like that to ride on.
We'll see...
Kudos to all of you!
John
What? You thought that the black-and-blue title reference and song lyrics were a cynical ploy just to get you to watch the video? And I'll bet you're the kind of guy who watches car races just for the spectacular crashes too! That's just SICK, man!
We got most of our snow about a week ago and the cities of Loveland and Fort Collins are pretty good about clearing the bike paths within a day or two. If we'd received 12" over-night like you did, the video would have resembled your Sunday ride experience. And we wouldn't have been smiling quite as much.
Thanks for watching. Sorry to disappoint. ;-)
I get my chance for hypothermia CO rides starting tomorrow!.....although we did ride 50 miles in 40 degree weather on Sunday in Houston.
Very nice Howard! You guys are truly hardcore to the bone! Stay warm...

Thanks Mozam.
And crosstrain,
Sorry about all the great weather we'll be having this week and next. Not the True Colorado Experience, I know, but Christmas in Boulder still sounds mighty fine!
