Can A Blog Post a Sequel? You Betcha!

Today's Ice Bike ride was a bit chillier -- 19°F! Everything was coated with ice. Did Howard care? Nope. Did he pay the price? You decide.

It's now time for...

Howard... I'm pretty sure you're completely insane. But I ordered a set of the Innova studded tires just to do some testing to be sure.

So it turns out that I don't have a bike to accept the 700x35 Innova studded tires I just ordered (my road bikes won't work, and my old mountain bike is not in good enough working order). Am looking to correct this deficiency today... and be out riding again soon. Although I am enjoying a couple weeks off the bike.

Wish me luck!

Slip sliding away, slip sliding away,
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away...

Good luck John!

As long as I never hear the words "Watch me do this!" cross your lips, you're okay in my book.

Ok, so I wouldn't normally post three comments on one of your posts (as compelling as they are), but...

I must've looked away or been distracted the first couple times I watched this. The third time, I actually saw you go wheels up. Quite entertaining. And better you than me.

Glad you're ok. Be careful out there myman!

Btw, I lost my bid on a wonderful hybrid bike last night. It was a STEAL. Daggum. I'll keep after it and let you know when I'm out slipping and sliding.

What? You watched the sequel video twice and didn't see me crash and burn? What were you doing to miss it? Driving your car while putting on makeup, eating breakfast, reading the newspaper, and talking on the cell phone? Well, stop it before someone (besides me) gets hurt.

And good luck finding an Ice Bike. Doesn't have to be a hybrid, though I find it to be a marvelous all-purpose kind of bike.

Hahaha..... yeah. I did... Miss it. Twice.

I'll try to pay attention from now on! ;o)

Hey, btw, I was succesful in attaining my very own ice bike! I have a down stroke on a Giant Cypress at the LBS. Hopefully someone in my family will go pick it up and put it next to the tree for Christmas!

Be safe myman...

Great video, Howard. That route in the sequel looked vaguely familiar. Did I ride on that before we cleared all the Fat Tire out of your fridge last summer?

My observations:
1. Must have been mistletoe on that building, cuz you kissed the ground at 1:58 and again at 1:42.

2. You rode between a dog and its owner. That can go so wrong.

3. You controlled the bike and camera very well when you were checking out the babe with the dog and the kid. Nice work. :)

1. It wasn't the ground that I felt like I was kissing.

2. There was a dog?

3. There was a dog and a kid?
