Ain't This A Bitch?
Well, this is disgusting.
Howard and BalticTiger did Ride The Rockies, but Howard only posted his ramblings for the first couple of days before losing the energy and focus to continue.
Howard rode in the Triple Bypass on July 14th -- a 120-mile 10K-feet-of-vertical-climb single-day ride, did great, and then posted nothing about it here.
Howard's and BalticTiger's second son, Chise (short for Cochise), got married to a remarkable woman at a remarkable wedding ceremony, followed by an equally remarkable reception... and yet Howard has not remarked.And then Howard and BalticTiger travelled to Iowa the day after the wedding and rode 430 miles in RAGBRAI, the 35th annual Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa where they met lots of great people, came across lots of great memories, and he's said nothing here. Actually, he has lots to say, and lots of photos to say it with, but he can't work up the energy.
The MightyBlog appears to going on a temporary hiatus. Sorry about that.

I was wondering where you were! Glad to hear that all is well. Congrats to son #2! I've found that during the busy summer months I tent to slack in the "blog department" as well. Many of my posts during this time contain only short paragraphs and photos. I my case, I don't think it's necessarily a lack of energy that leads to the short posts. It's just summertime baby. Lots of things I'd rather be doing than sitting in front of a computer hacking away on a keyboard.
Having said that...
Geez, Howard, Bead-by-Bead already scooped ya on the RAGBRAI !
As long as one of us is posting...
Although, I already did a write-up for BikeJournal. I'll copy and paste it here. That's easy enough.
