WTF?

A seemingly random stack of glass apartment blocks...

Except that one family owns and lives in all of these, and I'm pretty sure the structural and mechanical engineers insisted that the columns, framing system, and HVAC system (not to mention stairs and elevator) have SOME kind of order and sense to them.

And just in case you were wondering -- yes, this is real. Wow, check out all the decks!

This looks like the guy who designed the building took off his glasses when he was finalizing the drawings. Pretty darn ugly in my opinion.

Being a rabid fan of structured chaos, I love this! I would guess this may be what Charles Mingus would have designed if he were an architect rather than a jazz composer.

Had a prof in college who was fond of saying that ugly was just another word for unfamiliar.
