I Want a President With Hoops Skilz
Okay, I seem to be on a YouTube kick lately, but I just came across another one... this time a video of Barack Obama playing high school basketball. He wore #23 (oh yeah!), was smooth, quick, and graceful, and didn't toss any balls into the gutter. Between you and me, I suspect this video was made public to counter the embarrassing video of him bowling gutterball after gutterball last week, earning him all the derision in the world from talking heads at MSNBC, CNN, FOX, and CNBC who've never bowled above 200 in their lives (yes, I have bowled games over 200 AND I've dunked on a 10-foot basket... without using a trampoline... proving once again that Howard is bona fide.)

I don't know if I could feel comfortable voting for someone who was a good bowler.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Actually, Richard Milhouse Nixon fancied himself a pretty good bowler*, so had one built in the basement of the White House. It's probably still there to this day. I'm sure my readers will correct me if I'm wrong, but that never stops Howard from asserting dubious stuff.
*Which probably proves your point, huh?
Well, Billy boy was a great womanizer so I guess that counts for something, eh? Maybe Obama could teach all these moooselems how to play B-ball. Then, maybe, we could get some oil at a decent price. Oh...Howard, my friend's, friend trumps your dad. I'll see you one dad and raise you three friends.
I think it would be cool to have a President with baseball 'skilz' rip out some homers or toss some 90-mph heaters just for fun. It might have kept Bush from getting booed down last week in the inagural pitch to the MLB season. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/30/president-bush-booed-at-b_n_94153.html
And here I thought that most baseball fans were hardcore republicans due to that damned 'God Bless America' BS they play now (since 9/11) before the 7th inning stretch. By the way, you don't have to take off your hat for that song; common misperception made by idiotic baseball-politics tying republicans.
Yeah, I saw that today -- singing God Bless America. Do they sing it now instead of Take Me Out to the Ballgame or do they sing it before?
As for the Rockies, at least Holliday got a taste of the hotness back today. Now we get down to work.
And Mozam, I would like to hear about your friend's experiences with Al Gore. Email me if you prefer them private, or post here if not. Very curious. Thanks.
